Join Dr. Angelina Guzzo for a practical look at vascular-occlusion patterns and what they can tell us. We’ll explain the underlying mechanisms simply and discuss how understanding these patterns can guide decisions when a complication occurs.
Physicians, nurses and dentists interested in aesthetic medicine.
A live online Journal Club planned for November 10, 2026. Proposed time: 7:30–9:00 p.m., Montréal.
Presentation in English, with questions welcome in English or French.
A focused presentation followed by a moderated discussion with professional colleagues.
A vascular occlusion can be stressful. Recognizing its patterns gives clinicians a clearer starting point for understanding what they are seeing and considering the next steps.
Dr. Guzzo will introduce the selected paper, explain its key ideas in plain language and open the conversation to questions from practice.
Founded by Dr. Angelina Guzzo, Open Access Aesthetics Academy is a free educational initiative for physicians, nurses and dentists interested in aesthetic medicine.
Through journal clubs, case presentations and planned online teaching, we bring published research into the conversations clinicians have in practice. Our focus is practical: understanding complications, sharing experience and supporting safer care and better outcomes.
We want professionals to feel welcome to ask questions, discuss different approaches and learn from one another.
Dr. Guzzo brings together a background in medicine, scientific research, anesthesiology and clinical education. Through AMEQ Academy, she teaches aesthetic medicine to healthcare professionals.
